Design for cookbook in both print and digital.
I designed a 150+ page cookbook in InDesign as an interactive e-book with live table of contents, chapters, and index, along with a print-ready version. ‘Food, FFS!’ is a light-hearted blog where the author focuses on recipes but also posts lovingly about their cat. I designed this cookbook to match that tone.
I created the original InDesign file with automatic page numbering and an auto-updating table of contents and index. I also created a set of vector icons in Illustrator to easily identify each recipe with, such as dietary restrictions or time required to cook.
